It's a mystical bond between man and machine." ~ I remember when those words were first uttered in-movie by the late Bernie Mac as "Bobby Bolivia" in Michael Bay's 2007 "Transformers" movie, when Shia LaBeouf's "Sam Witwicky" first picked Bumblebee - or rather Bumblebee picked him ... now eleven years later, Hailee Steinfeld's "Charlie Watson", will discover the Rick-Rolled- ejecting Transformer G1-era designed Volkswagen Beetle!

"On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken." (IMDb)

The very first "spin-off" of the Transformers movie franchise, "Bumblebee: The Movie" also stars John Cena (as an agent from "Sector 7"), and is directed by Travis Knight ("Kubo and the Two Strings"). Premieres December 21, 2018 in USA, Dec 20th in Singapore.

International Trailer for TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT

For centuries they defended our world, but on June 21st our alliance is over. I for one, feels to be in a cauldron of mixed emotions - having just witnessed this “International Trailer” for TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT only just unleashed unto the www - of whether I should (A) go watch it in the darkened cinema and pray against all past experiences telling me I would be confused by the happenings across the entire silver screen …. OR, (B) Wait patiently for it to eventually come on DVD, or perhaps even public television broadcast, to perhaps make sense of all said-happenings on-screen.

Daymn but it’ll be an epic ride either way, though, my eye-patch or otherwise! LOL

Witness the new Super Bowl TV Spot Teaser for TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT, released in advance of the upcoming Super Bowl on Sunday, where apparently an “extended spot” will be further released… Well, I did mention “TV Spot Teaser”, yeh? LOL

Also, a new synopsis has been released (text above) … a look into the “past” again? Further than the Dark of the Moon? Extinct Dinosaurs? … Well, we’ve seen Knights-in-armor and the Third Reich in earlier trailers, haven’t we? :)

Transformers: The Last Knight - First Teaser Trailer Unleashed!

The first Teaser Trailer for Michael Bay’s TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT has been unleashed, and we get to see a dragon Transformer, LIPS on Bumblebee, characters from different Transformers movies together (Josh Duhamel + Mark Wahlberg!), Optimus Prime battling Bumblebee? All narrated by the ever ‘omnipresent’ Anthony Hopkins, and you’ve got something exciting to expect, for when the movie premieres June 23, 2017, in America screens!

Love him or hate him, say what you will about Michael Bay, but he has left an undeniable mark on the Transformers franchise - 5 films! - and truthfully, I cannot imagine the franchise without him, IMHO.

First Full Trailer for "Transformers: Age of Extinction"

The first full trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction has arrived, and truth be told, at the end of it, I was holding back a tear. I suddenly felt this small quiver of excitement as I had the first time I watched the trailer for the very first Transformers movie from Michael Bay. I remember the feeling clearly; a feeling of wonder, a moment of intrigue, and a sliver of excitement - for what entertainment awaits me in the darkened cinema.

I watched and enjoy T1 in the cinema (thanks to a one-and-only press preview in my life, which I unashamedly asked for anyways lol), while T2 and T3 was in the comforts of my own home via the smaller plasma screen via DVDs. While admittedly the story had been more than dubious, but in my mind, the movies originate from toys, and are of autonomous giant robots walking and battling on the earth in the first place, so I never expected anything else other than "entertainment" … and of course Megan Fox. But by the end of T2, I felt fatigued, and by T3, the "mystique" had all but been replaced by "grudging-uncomfortableness" (to say the least).

And it feels good to feel "excited" again (at least about the movie haha). Mark Wahlberg appeals to a certain side of me which enjoys the fictional notion of the pseudo-sensitive macho-action-man (also think general Jason Statham-roles), and he looks like he'll be the one to bring an attitude to this outing, IMHO. Kudos for casting him, methinks. Looking forward, truly looking forward to this film now.
