Transformers: The Last Knight - First Teaser Trailer Unleashed!

The first Teaser Trailer for Michael Bay’s TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT has been unleashed, and we get to see a dragon Transformer, LIPS on Bumblebee, characters from different Transformers movies together (Josh Duhamel + Mark Wahlberg!), Optimus Prime battling Bumblebee? All narrated by the ever ‘omnipresent’ Anthony Hopkins, and you’ve got something exciting to expect, for when the movie premieres June 23, 2017, in America screens!

Love him or hate him, say what you will about Michael Bay, but he has left an undeniable mark on the Transformers franchise - 5 films! - and truthfully, I cannot imagine the franchise without him, IMHO.

Optimus Prime's and Autobot nemesis "Megatron" is coming back in TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT AKA #Transformers5!

And while director Michael Bay revealed Optimus' "face" not too long ago on his instagram, today we get to see the "new" mug of the leader of the Decepticons, and he's looking like he's had some facial bodywork done on him, currently looking even further away from the cartoon version old fogies like myself remembered him to look, and even further unrecognizable from his earlier Michael Bay-directed celluloid incarnation (My first post: "megatron is an alien jet", circa 2006).

If those are "mammoth tusks", and tis because the powers-that-be want to milk the "Dinobots" angle … I cannot…

But I'm no expert and would probably still watch the movie (maybe not in the cinema… *cough*), and not wholly sure about the inevitable toys to come.

@michaelbay reveals the title of the next big-screen installment of the Transformers with "Transformers: The Last Knight"! Interesting the main text looks more "cartoony" than the previous sharp(er) edged incarnations, doesn't it? IMDB has it scheduled for a "23 June 2017 (USA)" premiere date.


Production starts "this week in Cuba", and seems Hollywood is heading to the island nation to film, including Fast8!
